CALL FOR PAPERS

Dear Colleagues and friends

We cordially invite you to submit your research papers (English only and in PDF format) to the first International Finance Conference scheduled between 13 - 14 September 2024 at XLRI - Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur, India. We will organize the conference in a residential format, so please do not hesitate to submit your work.

XLRI -Xavier School of Management organizes the meeting. The B-school was founded in 1949 and is celebrating its platinum jubilee year. The B-school is AACSB and AMBA-accredited. The current meeting attempts to bring together academicians and practitioners, create a platform for early and rising scholars to exchange research knowledge, and offer opportunities for joint research collaborations.

Topics of the Conference

The scientific and organizing committees welcome submissions that are not restricted to the theme for presentation at the conference no later than 5 August 2024 (early submission is highly encouraged). The main topics of the conference include, but are not limited to:

Paper Awards

In addition to certificates for presentation, two best paper awards will be announced in the Valedictory ceremony:

• One best paper award for research scholars - ₹7,000 /- reward
• One best paper award overall - ₹10,000 /- reward

Publication Opportunities

In consultation with conference co-chairs and the Editors-in-Chief, authors of the best conference papers will be invited to submit their papers to fast track reviewing process for one of the following journals:

• International Review of Economics and Finance
• Journal of International Financial Management and Accounting

Important Dates

• Submission deadline: 5 August 2024
• Notification of review results: 15 August 2024
• Early bird Registration closes: 18 August 2024
• Registration deadline: 23 August 2024
• Conference event: 13 - 14 September 2024

Paper Submission

Authors are invited to submit their full papers in PDF files, no later than 5 August 2024 via the conference website.

Submission guidelines are:

• Full manuscript clearly stating the aim and intended contribution of research, description of theoretical framework and concepts adopted, research design along with theoretical and practical implications.
• Full manuscripts should not exceed 10,000 words, including references in APA style, excluding tables and figures.
• Including typeface: Times New Roman, 12 pt, double space and justified.
• Title page should include authors’ names, affiliation, and email addresses.
• The submitted papers should be easily readable, suitably sectionalized, and free of grammatical errors. It should also present correct scientific facts and be free from plagiarism and strictly prohibit usage of AI for writing. Papers undergo similarity index check.

Submitted manuscripts will be double blinded peer-reviewed and the comments along with review results will be notified by 5th August 2024.
